Since a young age, Ben remembers photography being a big part of his life. His dad loved photography as a hobby. Growing up, Ben and his sister picked up their love for the craft through learning from their dad. Ben started out making videos of local bands for fun. Eventually he decided to venture into other types of film.
In 2017, Ben asked to film one of his close friend's wedding. The rest is history! After other friends saw the film, they asked Ben to film their weddings. In the first year, Bodnar Film Co (originally Ben Bodnar Films) shoot 20+ weddings. Of course, Ben couldn't do it all alone! He handed Jenn, his wife, a camera and brought her along for the ride! After 2 years in the wedding film business, Ben and Jenn decided to add on photography services. For 3 years they have offered both services to couples, traveling up and down the East Coast. Shooting over 100 weddings! In 2021 their son, Grayson, was born. It changed everything when it came to their mindset on family and work life balance. With the start of 2022, the two decided to further grow their business by adding a team of filmmakers and photographers to their services. After the 2023 season, Ben and Jenn have decided to step back from the wedding industry to allow for growth and expansion in their family life. Bodnar Film Co will no longer be offering video services but will continue to offer photo services on a limited basis. We hope to be a part of small and big moments in couple's lives as they progress from engaged life, to married life, and beyond. |

We like to think of ourselves as a fun-loving, laid back couple. We're definitely extroverts and love being around people! We've been married since 2017 (3 months before starting our business!). We have a son, Grayson, who was born in March of 2021! We are expecting a baby girl in Spring 2023! We also have a dog sweet pup named Oliver (aka Ollie).
We love craft beer, wine, and Jameson Whiskey. We enjoy binge watching the latest shows on Netflix/Hulu. We are social people and a night out with our friends/family fills our cups. We love to travel any chance we can, whether it is to another state or a different country. Some of the fun places we have been together: Cozumel Mexico, Turks and Caicos, Half Moon Cay, Freeport, Upstate Michigan and our favorite - Ireland. Now that Grayson and Macie have joined our crew, we like to spend as much time with them as possible. Being hands on in our children's childhood is extremely important to us. We are blessed to have this business that grows and adapts with us as our family has grown over the years. At the end of the day, we are big relationship people and that's how we've built our wedding business. At the heart of every good wedding film and photos are people. We believe in real, authentic connection (and a good time of course)! We're honored that you're here and that you care enough to learn a little more about who we are and how we started!
